Day students have the opportunity to explore every aspect of life on the Hill, with the caveat of returning home at the end of the day (whether that’s at 5 p.m. 练习后或10点.m. when boarders check-in is up to the student!). Every performance, every meal, every van trip on the weekend is available to day students. 和, as our day students come to discover early into their career at Westminster, every dorm room quickly opens to them, 也.

With nearly a third of our community going home at the end of each day, 走读学生申请名额, such as the Armour 学术中心, 作为他们的大本营, 他们可以聊天的地方, put sports gear or backpacks into lockers and await pick-up. Day students often find that Westminster feels like home, so they stay in a boarder’s room overnight on a Saturday.

Just as Westminster strives to create a comfortable, home-like setting for its boarding population, so too does it aim to include all day students in all aspects of our community. By the end of their Sixth Form year, many day students get accustomed to hearing from peers and teachers, “I thought you were a boarder because you’re here so often!”
